{"id":326915,"date":"2025-08-08T03:58:13","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T03:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/326915\/"},"modified":"2025-08-08T03:58:13","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T03:58:13","slug":"t100-london-2025-date-start-times-and-how-to-watch-two-epic-races-live-elite-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/326915\/","title":{"rendered":"T100 London 2025: Date, start times and how to watch two epic races LIVE &#8211; Elite News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest round of the T100 Triathlon World Tour takes place this weekend in London as the English capital hosts a PTO event for the second time \u2013 and the start lists look incredible.<\/p>\n<p>Every single women\u2019s and men\u2019s winners of the three T100 races this season \u2013 in Singapore, San Francisco and Vancouver \u2013 line up which means little hype is needed in suggesting this is the event of the season so far.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/hayden-wilde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hayden Wilde<\/a>\u2019s incredible comeback from his horror bike crash just 97 days before race day <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathlon-news\/elite\/hayden-wilde-t100-london-2025-decision\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has to be one of the headline stories<\/a> \u2013 but the super-strong British women contingent will hope to make a few of their own too.<\/p>\n<p>In our preview piece below, you can find everything you need to know about both races, including start times, how to watch live and who to keep an eye on.<\/p>\n<p>Start times and how to watch live<\/p>\n<p>In London, the women go first \u2013 at midday local time on <strong>Saturday 9th August<\/strong>. This corresponds to 13:00 in Europe, 07:00 on the East Coast and 04:00 on the West Coast.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a decent break until the men\u2019s race which starts at 14:45 local time.<\/p>\n<p>The broadcast is available globally on Discovery+, Max, Eurosport and TNT Sports \u2013 full details <a href=\"https:\/\/t100triathlon.com\/london\/pro\/#how-to-watch\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also available for free on the PTO+ livestream.<\/p>\n<p>The course<\/p>\n<p>The swim takes place in the Royal Victoria Dock, followed by a bike course with eight 10km laps along the Thames.<\/p>\n<p>And the crowds will be out in force for a run course consisting of six 3km loops around the Royal Victoria and Royal Albert Docks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That ends with an unusual indoor finish inside the ExCeL Centre.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Women\u2019s race \u2013 Knibb the one to beat?<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with the three winners so far.<\/p>\n<p>No one has been more dominant in terms of winning gaps than <strong>Kate Waugh<\/strong> in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Julie Derron<\/strong> then bossed everyone as she inflicted a first T100 defeat on <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/taylor-knibb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Knibb<\/a><\/strong> in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" alt=\"Taylor Knibb congratulates Julie Derron at T100 San Francisco 2025\" class=\"wp-image-88723 perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Taylor-Knibb-congratulates-Julie-Derron-at-T100-San-Francisco-2025.jpg\"  data-\/><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/taylor-knibb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taylor Knibb<\/a> congratulates Julie Derron at T100 San Francisco 2025 [Photo credit: PTO]<\/p>\n<p>Knibb roared back in Vancouver, the pretty much unbeatable middle-distance athlete restoring normal order.<\/p>\n<p>So it will be fascinating to see that trio lock horns but it\u2019s not just about them.<\/p>\n<p>The other Brits, headed by <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/lucy-charles-barclay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lucy Charles-Barclay<\/a><\/strong>, look formidable. And they include the two women who helped Team GB to Mixed Relay Gold at the Tokyo Olympics \u2013 <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/jess-learmonth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jess Learmonth<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/georgia-taylor-brown\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgia Taylor-Brown<\/a><\/strong>, in what is her T100 debut.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ash Gentle<\/strong> used to be the PTO \/ T100 queen, can she re-establish that? Arguably the fastest runner in the sport is here in <strong>Daniela Kleiser<\/strong>. And many others too in what promises to be a very special race.<\/p>\n<p>Men\u2019s race \u2013 Hayden\u2019s back<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the same for the men. It\u2019s wonderful to see <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/hayden-wilde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hayden Wilde<\/a><\/strong> back and the Singapore winner faces San Francisco hero <strong>Rico Bogen<\/strong> and Vancouver victor <strong>Jelle Geens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" alt=\"Hayden Wilde happy T100 Singapore 2025\" class=\"wp-image-89695 perfmatters-lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Hayden-Wilde-happy-T100-Singapore-2025.jpg\"  data-\/><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/hayden-wilde\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hayden Wilde<\/a> wins T100 Singapore [Photo credit: PTO]<\/p>\n<p>A whole host of other star names are set to take them on \u2013 <strong>Kyle Smith<\/strong> needs no introduction to T100 fans and <strong>Youri Keulen<\/strong> is another who has enhanced his standing in this format.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leo Bergere<\/strong> completed the Paris Olympics podium with <a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/alex-yee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alex Yee<\/a> and Wilde and has to be massively respected \u2013 he\u2019ll also race T100 French Rivieria at the end of the month.<\/p>\n<p>In truth it\u2019s hard to rule many out but if you\u2019re looking for someone who might slip slightly under the radar then how about Germany\u2019s <strong>Justus Nieschlag<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<p>And a special mention for potential crowd favourite <strong><a class=\"btl_autolink_hyperlink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tri247.com\/triathletes\/sam-long\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sam Long<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 even as an American \u2013 who has re-routed here late on.<\/p>\n<p>Prize Money and Points<\/p>\n<p>Racing for a total prize purse of $250,000, plus valuable T100 Tour points in London, there is plenty at stake.
