gun&#8217; raps as Scotland&#8217;s gangland war rages on"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A TEENAGE girl is among three people charged over alleged gun and drug offences as Scotland&#8217;s gangland war rages on.<\/p>\n<p>A 17-year-old girl and two men, aged 41 and 61, will appear in court on Saturday after police raided a home in Crewe Road Gardens, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/where\/edinburgh\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Edinburgh<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Street view of residential buildings and a van.\" height=\"590\" width=\"960\" data-credit=\"\" data-img=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-18-142704.png\" data-caption=\"Police raided a home in Crewe Road Gardens, Edinburgh yesterday\"   loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Screenshot-2025-04-18-142704.png\" role=\"img\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2<\/p>\n<p>Police raided a home in Crewe Road Gardens, Edinburgh yesterday<\/p>\n<p>It is alleged weapons were seized including a firearm, along with mobile phones, according to <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/police-scotland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Police Scotland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The trio were arrested and charged with alleged drugs and firearms offences.<\/p>\n<p>They are due to appear in Edinburgh <a aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sheriff Court<\/a> in a rare Saturday court appearance, due to the Easter weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Custody cases from across the east of Scotland will be sitting in Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Saturday because of bank holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Since March, assaults, shootings and fire-raisings in both the Edinburgh and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/where\/glasgow\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Glasgow<\/a> regions have been treated as potentially linked to a number of alleged gang-related incidents, with videos of some fires posted online.<\/p>\n<p>In one week alone, six addresses were targeted in Glasgow and surrounding neighbourhoods, in April.<\/p>\n<p>Police previously urged anonymous tip-offs, and condemned &#8220;publicising and glamorising these despicable and dangerous acts&#8221;
