\u201cIt\u2019s been a great year, with major goals coming in quick succession,\u201d explains Van Aert, who won stages in both the Giro and Tour this year and is currently ranked fourth in the UCI standings. \u201cAs in most years, the spring classics and the Tour de France were my main objectives. I\u2019m also happy that I finally got to experience the Giro d\u2019Italia. That variety \u2013 the same reason I rode the Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a for the first time last year \u2013 is something I need and find very motivating.\u201d<\/p>\n
For the final part of the season, the team and Van Aert have again opted for a varied race schedule. It includes his debut in the Deutschland Tour<\/strong>, the Bretagne Classic \u2013 Ouest-France<\/strong> (which he won in 2022), the double-header GP de Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong> and GP de Montr\u00e9al<\/strong>, and finishes with the Super 8 Classic<\/strong>. \u201cIt\u2019s important to still set some important goals for the last part of the season, and with this calendar, we\u2019ve certainly succeeded. At the same time, after such a packed season, it\u2019s crucial not to overdo it.
