It is always a bonus to see Liverpool players doing well with their respective national teams.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As one of the biggest clubs in he world, the Reds regularly have important players on an international level, too.<\/p>\n

For example, there are six national team captains currently within the Liverpool squad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of those is Conor Bradley<\/a>, who already wears the armband for Northern Ireland despite being just 21-years-old.<\/p>\n

After making his debut four years ago, Bradley has amassed 23 caps for his country, with the Liverpool<\/a> right-back often playing further up the pitch for Michael O\u2019Neil.<\/p>\n

And having made some impressive strides during 2024\/25, Bradley has been named as Northern Ireland\u2019s player of the year for 2024.<\/p>\n

Despite having some injury troubles, Bradley has developed impressively once again in 24\/25.<\/p>\n

That followed on from a breakout season in 2023\/24, when the youngster truly announced himself as a genuine option for Liverpool.<\/p>\n

Having also played brilliantly for Northern Ireland straddling the two campaigns, Bradley was named as his country\u2019s player of 2024 on Friday, as voted for by fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cReally proud to win that award,\u201d said the Reds defender<\/a> after collecting his trophy.<\/p>\n

\u201c2024 was a good year, not only for me but for the whole team. For the fans I just can\u2019t wait to see you again in the summer and in September when we\u2019re back for the qualification games. <\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s keep doing well together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bradley ready for bigger Liverpool role<\/p>\n

Bradley\u2019s recognition as his nation\u2019s best player at the moment is likely to be followed by an enhancement of his role at Liverpool.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

With Trent Alexander-Arnold on the cusp of leaving the club this summer, Bradley is set to step up and become first choice right-back for Arne Slot<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrent is gonna go,\u201d former Liverpool midfielder Sammy Lee predicted earlier this week<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[But] we have Conor Bradley who we all think is going to be a fantastic, fantastic replacement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Everything is being set up for Bradley to continue his steady development and explode into being a regular starter for Liverpool. If he can nail down his place in Slot\u2019s XI, this surely won\u2019t be the last time he wins this particular award. <\/p>\n
