Here\u2019s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds.<\/p>\n
We start this week on Saturday morning with the Middleton Makers Market<\/strong><\/a>, 10am-2pm, at Middleton Park Circus. Lots of lovely handmade items including clothing, jewelery, soaps and food; all made by local people.<\/p>\n It\u2019s MHA South Leeds<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 Summer Fair<\/strong> on Saturday morning at St Andrew\u2019s Community Centre, Cardinal Road, Beeston, LS11 8AG.<\/p>\n Trinity Network<\/strong><\/a> host their Community Reflections Caf\u00e9 on Saturday 10am-12pm at the United reformed Church, Nesfield Avenue, Belle Isle, LS10 3LG<\/p>\n Hunslet Nelson Cricket Club<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s First XI take on Buttershaw St Paul\u2019s CC at their Gipsy Lane ground, LS11 5TT on Saturday, starting at 12pm.<\/p>\n The Leeds Nigerian community<\/strong><\/a> will be holding a Fun Day<\/strong> in Cross Flatts Park on Saturday from 1pm. The free event will include a community parade, children\u2019s races, football, bouncy castle, zumba, table tennis, plus live music and DJ.<\/p>\n On Sunday afternoon the Friends of Middleton Park<\/strong><\/a> present the Middleton Park Dog Show,\u00a0 near the visitor centre. Lots of friendly categories for all dogs to enter. Check their Facebook page<\/strong><\/a> for details.<\/p>\n Hunslet RLFC<\/strong><\/a> take on league leaders York Knights at South Leeds Stadium on Sunday afternoon, kicking off at 3pm. Tickets at: hunsletrflc.ticketco.events\/uk<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n The South Leeds Community Kitchen<\/strong><\/a> will be cooking up a free meal on Sunday, 4-5:45pm, at St Mary\u2019s Church, Town Street, Beeston (opposite Nisa). Everyone is welcome.<\/p>\n On Wednesday the Hamara Centre<\/strong><\/a> in Beeston (LS11 6RD) is holding Community Open Day<\/strong> from 11am-2pm. Live animals, free food, Ronnie the Rhino and sports activities are among the attractions. It\u2019s free and no booking is required<\/p>\n Breeze in the Park<\/strong><\/a> arrives at Middleton Park on Thursday. The session runs for 12-4pm, Tickets cost \u00a31 per child from www.breezeleeds.org<\/strong><\/a>. There will be a relaxed session from 11am-12pm for children with additional needs.<\/p>\n And finally, Belle Isle Parade Garden Action Day<\/strong> is on Thursday from 12:30-4pm. Meet at gates next to the Post Office on Belle Isle Parade. Remember, Incredible Edible<\/strong><\/a> run a gardening session every Friday the Belle Isle Community Orchard, off the Circus.
