BBC Breakfast was abruptly pulled off air on Thursday and replaced with another programme – leaving viewers of the hit BBC show extremely confused<\/p>\n

BBC viewers were left scratching their heads when a bizarre technical hiccup interrupted the broadcast, causing some to miss out on bits of their favourite morning programme.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday (August 7) instalment of the beloved BBC<\/a> morning show, Naga Munchetty<\/a> and her colleague Charlie Stayt<\/a> graced the screens once more, ready to delve into the day’s headlines from their familiar red sofa setting.<\/p>\n

But as the pair pressed on with the morning’s news, an unforeseen technical snag struck, abruptly swapping the live show for a different programme in certain regions.<\/p>\n

Those who tuned in reported a transition to a segment featuring a preacher, before the broadcast snapped back to its scheduled content.<\/p>\n

The glitch seemed to be a localised issue, prompting a flurry of online chatter as viewers flocked to social media platforms to voice their bewilderment, reports the Express<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One viewer reached out on X, previously known as Twitter<\/a>, querying: “Anyone else got tbnuk just taken over #bbcbreakfast?”.<\/p>\n

Another, clearly unimpressed by Naga and Charlie’s lack of acknowledgement, responded: “Yes\u2014and then a switch back after 5 mins without any explanation!”<\/p>\n

A third chimed in with: “Yes, I was so confused.”<\/p>\n

Another added, “My head hurts now!” A particularly irate fan vented, ” It’s just happened again and also on iplayer, but still #BBCBreakfast on BBCNews! I have Virgin\u2014it may be coming through their feed?”<\/p>\n

Yet another viewer remarked on the oddity, noting the hosts’ absence of reaction: “Same here. Is it very odd that the presenters did not appear aware after it cleared?”<\/p>\n

One viewer shared their confusion: “Yes, could not decide if it was my Sky Puck or a hack. I now have no sound.”<\/p>\n

Another detailed their experience: “I had a frozen screen, but it was flashing green and orange, and there was no sound. I thought my TV had broken!”<\/p>\n

Injecting some humour into the situation, one fan quipped: “Can #bbcbreakfast (Midlands area or even the whole of the UK) have the manic preacher on tomorrow morning about the same time just for the craic? It woke me up.”<\/p>\n

Addressing the mishap, a BBC spokesperson said: “Due to a technical issue, viewers in the Midlands experienced a short interruption to BBC Breakfast this morning. We apologise for this.\u201d<\/p>\n
