{"id":329021,"date":"2025-08-08T22:43:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-08T22:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/329021\/"},"modified":"2025-08-08T22:43:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-08T22:43:11","slug":"pedro-pascal-to-star-in-tony-gilroys-next-film-behemoth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/329021\/","title":{"rendered":"Pedro Pascal To Star In Tony Gilroy&#8217;s Next Film &#8216;Behemoth!&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<strong>EXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>Following a busy 2025 that included an Emmy nominated performance and a Marvel Studios movie, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/pedro-pascal\/\" id=\"auto-tag_pedro-pascal\" data-tag=\"pedro-pascal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pedro Pascal<\/a> isn\u2019t looking to slow down as he is in talks to star in the Searchlight Pictures pic <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/behemoth\/\" id=\"auto-tag_behemoth\" data-tag=\"behemoth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Behemoth!<\/a> from writer-director <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/tony-gilroy\/\" id=\"auto-tag_tony-gilroy\" data-tag=\"tony-gilroy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tony Gilroy<\/a>. Searchlight recently came on to the project which Gilroy will write and direct. While the deal is not closed, sources say Pascal wants to do it and things are headed in the right direction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPlot details are vague at this time but Gilroy has said in interviews that the film revolves around a cellist. Gilroy would also produce with Sanne Wohlenberg. The film is set to begin principal photography this fall in Los Angeles, with release plans to be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tPascal is coming off a hugely successful summer, with A24 and Celine Song\u2019s Materialists, A24 and Ari Aster\u2019s Eddington and Marvel\u2019s Fantastic Four: First Steps. All three projects premiered to widespread critical acclaim, with Materialists being A24\u2019s third highest grossing opening ever, and Fantastic Four: First Steps being Marvel\u2019s highest grossing opening of 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFantastic Four kicked off the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Pascal recently wrapped production on the next Avengers movie, Avengers: Doomsday, which will premiere in 2026. Also in 2026, Pedro will reprise his role as Din Djarin in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOn the TV side, Pascal most recently earned a Lead Actor Emmy nomination for his performance in season two of HBO\u2019s The Last of Us.
