Timothy Olyphant accidentally revealed that he\u2019s set to star in Quentin Tarantino\u2019s \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood\u201d sequel \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth\u201d directed by David Fincher.<\/p>\n

Olyphant\u2019s slip up happened while he was appearing on Conan O\u2019Brien\u2019s podcast \u201cConan O\u2019Brien Needs a Friend\u201d on Friday. At the time O\u2019Brien mentioned that he had heard whispers about there being a second chapter to the 2019 film.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was talk of maybe being other projects coming out \u2026,\u201d O\u2019Brien said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is! There\u2019s a sequel that Tarantino wrote and [director David] Fincher\u2019s directing about Brad Pitt\u2019s killer,\u201d O\u2019Brien\u2019s co-host Matt Gourley said.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Olyphant silently mouthed \u201cI\u2019m in it\u201d to Gourley.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre they filming this?\u201d Olyphant questioned, realizing he was on camera while sharing the supposed reveal.<\/p>\n

He quickly cleared the air by saying he\u2019s not sure if he\u2019ll actually be in it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d Olyphant said trying to change the subject.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you want us to cut it?\u201d Gourley asked, offering to edit the moment out of the podcast episode before publishing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know \u2026 they\u2019ll be \u2026 let\u2019s see,\u201d Olyphant answered, trying to find the right words.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m hoping I\u2019m in it,\u201d Olyphant added. \u201cYou never know. It only is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jokingly offended that Olyphant withheld the information from him as his friend, O\u2019Brien called Olyphant out on his secret.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019d be a big deal that you\u2019d probably tell your friends about, right?\u201d O\u2019Brien asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cI haven\u2019t seen you!\u201d Olyphant exclaimed.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou haven\u2019t seen me?!\u201d O\u2019Brien said in mocked shock. \u201cYes, you\u2019ve seen me. You saw me like a month ago \u2026 Are you telling your friends? Are you telling your friends?\u201d<\/p>\n

By the end of the conversation, O\u2019Brien shared that he would have thought Olyphant would tell him about his casting given how much the late night host loved the first \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, I think you would have told me that. You knew what a huge fan I am of
the first film,\u201d O\u2019Brien said. \u201cUh, you think you might mention that to me?\u201d<\/p>\n

Olyphant said it was \u201cjust a few weeks ago\u201d that he had learned about the opportunity, adding that he still isn\u2019t sure about the role.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still not sure,\u201d Olyphant said. <\/p>\n

So far, there are not many details about Tarantino\u2019s sequel other than it has been titled \u201cThe Adventures of Cliff Booth,\u201d and the film will be focused on the character Cliff Booth, with Brad Pitt reprising the role, per reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n
