That combination of bread, succulent filling, oozy cheese and perhaps a pickle or two is so simple, but so darn good. With such a neat formula, there\u00a0are thousands of spots across London\u00a0with decent burgers on offer.\u00a0But here at Time Out, we\u2019re interested in the outstanding.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0professional food obsessives have powered through dozens of patties in the city to bring you our list of London\u2019s best burgers, updated for August 2025. And we\u2019re coming at you with a brand new number one.<\/p>\n<p>Right now you\u2019ll find London\u2019s best burger at\u00a0<strong>Dumbo<\/strong>.\u00a0The Parisian burger\u00a0brand\u00a0opened its\u00a0first\u00a0international joint in Shoreditch earlier this summer and has already won Londoners over. Plus, at \u00a310 it offers one of the cheapest cheeseburgers on\u00a0our\u00a0list.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Time Out food editor Leonie Cooper wrote: \u2018The sleek smashburgers at Dumbo offer the perfect charred lacy crust on the edges of super succulent dry-aged beef. Add the requisite slices of gleaming American cheese, before tangy, plump pickles. Then come unobtrusive smears of ketchup and mustard &#8211; it\u2019s better dressed than peak Chlo\u00eb Sevigny \u2013 and you\u2019re got yourself a rightfully hyped new-wave burger titan.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Claiming silver medal is the \u2018bona fide, utterly brilliant\u2019 Dexter cheeseburger\u00a0from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/the-plimsoll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Four Legs at The Plimsoll<\/a><\/strong>. This\u00a0cult classic keeps things super simple. It\u00a0comes with a thin Dexter beef patty topped by\u00a0melted cheese, burger sauce, finely minced onion and a generous heap of sweet pickles, all\u00a0packed inside a glossy brioche bun. According to Leonie, \u2018you\u2019ll be swooning after the first mouthful\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"5b96bcbd-1e39-8fee-469a-94432666c45d\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/1754706923_411_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Dove\" data-caption=\"\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Dove\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106229236\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Dove&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Then, in at number three is\u00a0an absolute whopper \u2013 the colossal meaty bun from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/dove-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dove<\/a><\/strong>. There are only 10 of these burgers served at the Ladbroke Grove restaurant each day.
