Liverpool have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola should they fail to secure the services of number one target Alexander Isak<\/a>. However, a move for the 22-year-old is not being planned, according to Mirror Football<\/a>.<\/p>\n Barcola is said to be admired by the Liverpool<\/a> hierarchy but they believe the French champions have no intention of letting him leave and therefore are reputedly not planning to make a move. Recent reports have claimed that the Parma defender has been tracked by the Reds as they weigh up their options at the back<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Times reported that Leoni was among the young central defenders across Europe the club had been monitoring. However, it now appears Inter Milan are favourites to land his signature, with their current head coach having worked with the player at Parma last season.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Harvey Elliott <\/a>continues to attract interest from Tottenham<\/a>. According to Football Transfers<\/a>, Tottenham are stepping up their pursuit of the midfielder following the injury to James Maddison.<\/p>\n Maddison faces missing the majority of the upcoming season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the friendly against Newcastle United<\/a>.
