Birmingham City<\/a> have found themselves at the centre of many EFL supporters’ conversations throughout the summer. <\/p>\n

The Blues<\/a> have shown serious ambition following their ascent from League One, and have caught the eye with their recruitment.<\/p>\n

Adding yet more fuel to the Birmingham<\/a> fire of late is the Amazon Prime documentary following the club since the change of ownership in 2023, with a focus on minority owner and NFL icon, Tom Brady.<\/p>\n

From outbursts about Peterborough United and the club’s arch-rivals, Aston Villa, to questions about ex-manager Wayne Rooney’s work ethic, the documentary series has given supporters a lot to sink their teeth into regarding the direction of Birmingham’s<\/a> travel.<\/p>\n

FLW’s Blues<\/a> Fan Pundit Jason Moore<\/a> believes that a lot of the criticism coming to the fore as a result of the series derives from nothing but jealousy.<\/p>\n

“I love the bloke” – Passionate Tom Brady claim made following documentary reactions<\/p>\n

“I loved it, and I loved his stance on what he wants for Blues<\/a>,” said Jason<\/a> when asked what he made of Brady throughout the series.<\/p>\n

“He has only ever given the idea that he wants the best for the club and the players. I love the bloke, I do.”<\/p>\n

“And it is not as if he takes a step back and watches on from America, he has his people working for us and making things better for the club. If we can make use of the expertise of someone with a career spanning as long as it did, then we should absolutely use it.”<\/p>\n

\"Tom<\/p>\n

The seven-time Super Bowl champion entered into a partnership<\/a> with Birmingham’s<\/a> owners, Knighthead Capital Management, in 2023 and became chairman of the advisory board at the club.<\/p>\n

Jason<\/a> added: “I think a lot of the criticism stems from jealousy, with other clubs not having something like this. I can understand people watching this and thinking that it is all about Brady, but that is the point, it is about us getting into the American market.”<\/p>\n

“I love the bloke, and I am all for what he is doing,” concluded Jason<\/a>. “Not that I like the NFL anyway… but all aboard the Brady bus!”<\/p>\n

Cultural reset has taken Birmingham on a new trajectory<\/p>\n

Criticism regarding unique ownership and management styles has been present in football for a long time, and it will always be the case as the English game continues to reach new shores and be successful overseas.<\/p>\n

However, it is hard to argue the fact that Birmingham’s<\/a> ownership change has brought nothing but immense goodness to the club, and brought immense pride back to a footballing institution that had not been firing on all cylinders for years prior.<\/p>\n

\"Birmingham<\/p>\n

Suffering relegation to League One was something that had to be endured for the long-term success of the club. The Blues<\/a> have since revitalised under Chris Davies, and look prepared to throw themselves into the hat at the top end of the Championship this term.<\/p>\n

Eyes will be on them, waiting for the club to fail.
