Ledley King has revealed his thoughts on Tottenham\u2019s appointment of Thomas Frank and has shared what he has heard from people at the club about the Dane\u2019s first month at Hotspur Way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the past few weeks, several Tottenham players have spoken about the new tactical ideas Frank has brought to Spurs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is clear from the Lilywhites\u2019 pre-season games that they will be set up very differently from how they were under Ange Postecoglou<\/a> last term.<\/p>\n

Frank has said that he wants Spurs to be more balanced than they were last season<\/a>, with the Dane stressing the need for his side to be good in all phases of play.<\/p>\n

King<\/a> has now revealed that the Spurs<\/a> players are enthusiastic about learning and implementing Frank\u2019s<\/a> ideas and described the Dane as a \u2018sensible\u2019 manager with a proven track record in the Premier League<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Tottenham legend claimed that there is a sense of excitement at the club ahead of the new season.<\/p>\n

King told Football.London<\/a>: \u201cWe know that Thomas is a proven Premier League manager over a number of years. I can see the players are looking forward to learning his philosophies and getting the season underway.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019ll be interesting to see. I think he likes pressing high, likes high energy, but at the same time, I think he\u2019s quite sensible in his philosophy. I don\u2019t think he\u2019d be afraid to change things tactically if need be, but what I\u2019ve sensed so far is that he\u2019s someone who\u2019s going to put his arm around players and have a chat with them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI sense a real closeness between him and his coaching staff, and also just trying to connect everyone at the club and make them feel comfortable, which is what you need for success. <\/p>\n

\u201cTo build on something, you want everyone at the football club to be involved, to be engaged and to feel that we were aiming for success altogether and not just on the football pitch side of things, and I sense that he\u2019s really trying to do that.<\/p>\n

King reveals interesting thing he has heard about Frank<\/p>\n

Apart from the tactical ideas of Frank, King also spoke highly of the 51-year-old\u2019s man-management skills.<\/p>\n

He revealed that he has heard from people at the club that the new Tottenham head coach is a uniter who is looking to bring everyone at Spurs together.<\/p>\n

The 44-year-old added: \u201cI\u2019ve spoken to some people who\u2019ve said that [he\u2019s trying to connect everyone], they\u2019ve told me that. It\u2019s been meetings with everyone at the club together, talking about having that connection as a team, as a club, moving forward, but also just me seeing, watching how he carries himself, how he interacts with everyone, it\u2019s something that I\u2019ve noticed as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always think it\u2019s an important ingredient, when you want to build something, make it successful is to allow everyone to feel part of it, and I can sense that he\u2019s really trying to bring that together.\u201d<\/p>\n
