Former Manchester United<\/a> forward Mason Greenwood<\/a> was involved in a spat with Aston Villa players during the pre-season friendly between Marseille and Unai Emery’s side.<\/p>\n The French side won 3-1 over the Premier League<\/a> team on Saturday evening, but tempers flared among players during the game.<\/p>\n Greenwood provided an assist for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang\u2019s second-half goal to make it 3-1. But he was also involved in some feisty scenes towards the end of the so-called friendly.<\/p>\n As reported by BirminghamLive<\/a>, the former United man \u2018kicked out\u2019 at Villa midfielder Amadou Onana in frustration after losing the ball.<\/p>\n That led to words being exchanged between the two, with Greenwood shoving the Villa man. Villa captain Tyrone Mings then became involved, grabbing Greenwood\u2019s shirt and pulling him away from Onana, appearing to leave the shirt ripped.<\/p>\n It wasn\u2019t long after the incident that Greenwood was substituted, leaving the field without his shirt.<\/p>\n The incident comes amid speculation over Greenwood\u2019s future at Marseille. In his first season with the French club he scored 22 goals and provided six assists in 36 games.<\/p>\n Those numbers and his performances has led to clubs being linked with an interest in the 23-year-old. Most recently Saudi side Al Nassr have been linked<\/a>, although Marseille have made it clear that they do not want to sell.<\/p>\n It is added that an offer of over \u00a385 million would have to be made to even start conversations over the forward.
