His overall Test figure (9\/75) were also the best by a New Zealand bowler on Test debut.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.icc-cricket.com\/tournaments\/champions-trophy-2025\/videos\/every-matt-henry-wicket-champions-trophy-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt Henry<\/a>, who had a five-for in the first innings, finished with 16 wickets in the series at an average of merely 9.12.<\/p>\n<p>Henry took the Player of the Series award for his efforts with the ball, whereas Conway got the Player of the Match for his 153 in New Zealand&#8217;s batting innings.<\/p>\n<p>With this emphatic victory, the Kiwis under stand-in captain Mitchell Santner, secured a 2-0 series win. They had already won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icc-cricket.com\/matches\/258849\/zimbabwe-vs-new-zealand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first game<\/a> by nine wickets.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Test series, New Zealand had participated in a T20I triangular contest, which had also featured South Africa.
