However, Rangers have requested the match be postponed should they advance in the Champions League.\n<\/p>\n \n The SPFL<\/a> granted power to clubs in the play-off round of European competitions to have one match, in matchday three, postponed without issue.\n<\/p>\n \n Rangers announced in a statement during the week: “Our fixture against St Mirren at the SMiSA Stadium has now been rescheduled for Sunday, 24 August, kicking off at 12 noon and will be shown live on Sky Sports<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n \n “However, following a request from the club, should we progress to the UEFA Champions League play-off round, we will exercise the option to postpone the match and it will be played at a later date.”\n<\/p>\n \n Read more:\u00a0\n<\/p>\n \n Should Rangers qualify for the play-off round of the Champions League by beating Viktoria Plzen, they hold a 3-0 win from the first leg, then the suspension would move to the next league match.\n<\/p>\n \n For Rangers, that would be against Celtic on Sunday, August 31 at Ibrox.\n<\/p>\n
