Napoli had made an offer for <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Nunez <\/strong>earlier in the transfer window that was rejected by Liverpool, while AC Milan were also in the hunt. However, Al-Hilal, who had a proposal in January dismissed, appear to have now won the battle for the Uruguayan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Trent Alexander-Arnold<\/strong> was the first out the door at the start of June after Real Madrid agreed to cough up \u00a38.4m for a player who was a free agent a month later, while <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Caoimhin Kelleher<\/strong> left shortly afterwards for Brentford in a \u00a318m package and <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Nat Phillips<\/strong> joined Championship side West Bromwich Albion in a \u00a33m deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Jarell Quansah<\/strong> in July moved to Bayer Leverkusen in a transfer that could eventually see Liverpool be handed \u00a335m, while <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Luis Diaz<\/strong> departed to Bayern Munich for \u00a365m and <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Tyler Morton<\/strong> last week joined Lyon for a potential \u00a315m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A number of loan deals have been agreed with <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Vitezslav Jaros<\/strong> spending the season at Ajax, fellow goalkeeper <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Harvey Davies<\/strong> going to League Two side Crawley Town, left-back <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Owen Beck<\/strong> at Championship side Derby County and <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Isaac Mabaya<\/strong> heading for Wigan Athletic in League One.<\/p>\n<p>Deals that could happen next<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Liverpool remain interested in <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Alexander Isak,<\/strong> but are keeping a watching brief for now having had a \u00a3110m offer rejected by Newcastle United last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">As things stand, the Reds won&#8217;t make another bid for the striker but matters continue to develop on Tyneside, with Isak banished to train away from the first team and not considered for selection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Liverpool are also likely to recruit a centre-back. <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Marc Guehi<\/strong> of Crystal Palace is a long-time target but the Reds won&#8217;t pay over the odds for a player out of contract next summer, while youngsters <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Giovanni Leoni<\/strong> of Parma and <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal<\/strong> of Rennes have been linked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">More departures are anticipated. <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Federico Chiesa<\/strong> wants a return to Italy ahead of next summer&#8217;s World Cup with a number of Serie A sides interested, and Leeds United are the latest club to ponder a move for \u00a320m-rated teenager winger <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Ben Doak<\/strong> with Wolves and West Ham United also keen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Harvey Elliott<\/strong> held talks with RB Leipzig earlier this week over a potential move with Liverpool valuing the player in the \u00a345m region. Elliott is reportedly also being tracked by Tottenham Hotspur after the serious knee injury suffered by James Maddison earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">And a surfeit of left-backs could see one of <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Andy Robertson<\/strong> or <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Kostas Tsimikas<\/strong> leave, with Robertson having been wanted by Atletico Madrid earlier in the summer before the Spaniards moved for Matteo Ruggeri of Atalanta.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Luca Stephenson,<\/strong> the 21-year-old midfielder, is wanted on loan again by Dundee United where he enjoyed an impressive stay last season. Championship side Swansea City and League One outfits Cardiff City, Reading and Rotherham United are also tracking the player while Aberdeen are considering a permanent move.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \"><strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">James McConnell<\/strong> has attracted loan interest from Championship teams West Bromwich Albion, Ipswich Town, Derby County, Oxford United and Swansea, while he is also being tracked by newly-promoted Ligue 1 side Metz of France.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">And <strong class=\"Strong_strong__e2x35\">Lewis Koumas,<\/strong> the Wales international striker, is a target for both a loan and potential permanent move.
