{"id":331976,"date":"2025-08-10T01:51:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-10T01:51:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/331976\/"},"modified":"2025-08-10T01:51:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-10T01:51:11","slug":"tony-hemming-resigns-as-pakistan-cricket-boards-chief-curator-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/331976\/","title":{"rendered":"Tony Hemming resigns as Pakistan Cricket Board\u2019s chief curator &#8211; Sport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Australia\u2019s Tony Hemming has resigned from his position as the chief curator, the Pakistan Cricket Board <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link--external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pcb.com.pk\/press-release-detail\/tony-hemming-resigns-as-chief-curator.html\">announced<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>He was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1846055\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appointed<\/a> as chief curator in July last year as no extension was given to previous chief curator Agha Zahid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of Hemming\u2019s immediate tasks will be to prepare pitches for the upcoming five ICC World Test Championship matches against Bangladesh [two in August\/September] and England [three in October]. Hemming will also oversee pitch preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will host from Feb 19 to March 9,\u201d the PCB had said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHemming is a highly respected curator with nearly four decades of experience.
