Cast<\/a>\u2019s set opening for Oasis<\/a> in Edinburgh was marked by a flyover from the Red Arrows on Saturday (August 9) \u2013 watch below.<\/p>\n

The Liverpool band have been opening at every date on the UK and Ireland leg of the massive Oasis Live \u201825 tour<\/a> this summer, along with Richard Ashcroft<\/a>. As the second of three nights at the Scottish capital<\/a> went down at Murrayfield Stadium, the RAF\u2019s Air Force Acrobatic Team made a dramatic appearance.<\/p>\n

Cast were playing their 1996 single \u2018Flying\u2019, at which point nine Red Arrows flew in formation overhead at Murrayfield, blazing their signature red, white and blue contrails.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got to fly,\u201d the band wrote on Instagram as they shared video of the moment. Watch here:<\/p>\n

After their final Edinburgh show on Tuesday (August 12), Oasis will then head for a pair of performances in Dublin\u2019s Croke Park on August 16 and 17,\u00a0before heading across the Atlantic for the North American tour<\/a>. Dates in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Pasadena and Mexico City will take them to the middle of September, when they head back for\u00a0two final nights at Wembley<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Later in the year, they play in\u00a0South Korea, Japan<\/a>,\u00a0Australia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil<\/a>.<\/p>\n

NME\u00a0gave Oasis\u2019 first concert at Cardiff\u2019s Principality Stadium a glowing five-star review<\/a>, writing: \u201cAfter a \u201890s heyday and an often maligned post-millennium era, this is Oasis redesigned for the 21st Century.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPlaying before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Cast\u2019s John Power has said Liam and Noel Gallagher \u201cseem to be in an absolutely wonderful place\u201d<\/a> on the tour so far. \u201cThey both genuinely \u2026 well, of course they want to be there, but you can feel the positive energy,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s all going hunky-dory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Cast announced their new album \u2018Yeah Yeah Yeah\u2019<\/a> and shared the lead single \u2018Poison Vine<\/a>\u2019, which features their signature chiming guitar sound and guest vocals from veteran soul singer P.P. Arnold.<\/p>\n

Last year, Power told NME that they felt nothing but a \u201cvery positive vibe\u201d about supporting Oasis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re blown away by it,\u201d Power said about their reaction to the news that they would be on the tour. \u201cWe had the nod and were just waiting for the official announcement. Now we can bask in it. It\u2019s a stamp of approval from our peers, and I appreciate that massively.\u201d<\/p>\n
