\n Here is everything Burgess said post-match\u2026<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n Q: That felt like a similar story to last week in that this was a game you were in but couldn\u2019t quite sustain?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: That\u2019s probably a fair summary, yeah.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: What\u2019s stopping you from sustaining these performances for 80 minutes, then?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: There\u2019s areas in the game where our concentration doesn\u2019t seem to be there, and I\u2019m talking just a split second.\n<\/p>\n \n There\u2019s so much effort there but sometimes at this level, effort isn\u2019t always good enough. You need to be thinking for the whole game.\n<\/p>\n \n They\u2019re a great side with some great players and they took some moments. I thought we had a good hold on them but they turned it up and we struggled.\n<\/p>\n \n They turned it up in the last 20 minutes and we couldn\u2019t stay with them.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: Was the extra physicality they showed in that kind of period the difference then, do you think?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: I don\u2019t know about that \u2013 I thought we handled them quite well as they\u2019re a physical side.\n<\/p>\n \n We had our moments too but it\u2019s moreso making our tackles, keeping hold of the ball \u2013 really simple stuff.\n<\/p>\n \n We bombed a couple in the first half which you really can\u2019t do against Wigan.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: Will you reflect on that then in terms of going in ahead but probably thinking you should have been further ahead?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: We were at 65 per cent in both halves \u2013 we\u2019re just not being clinical enough.\n<\/p>\n \n There\u2019s so much effort out there from so many guys but there\u2019s a couple that need to switch on a bit harder.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: Is that something you can coach?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: I\u2019m trying as that\u2019s my job.\n<\/p>\n \n You can certainly see we\u2019re looking more like ourselves but there\u2019s a couple of transitions that I and the team value that aren\u2019t quite where they need to be which we\u2019ll have to catch up in time.\n<\/p>\n \n We\u2019ve got things to work on and we\u2019ll be better again next week, but we\u2019ve come up against two great sides and we\u2019ve been second-best.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: The talk on Sky before the game was about this being the \u201clast chance saloon\u201d for you guys in terms of the top six so is that it now?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: I stopped listening to those guys.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: At the very least its made it much tougher, though?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: It is tough \u2013 let\u2019s be honest about the situation and we know it\u2019s a tough climb from here.\n<\/p>\n \n I\u2019m not going to change anything I\u2019m doing \u2013 I\u2019m coaching hard at our performance regardless of the scenarios. I want to see a team that looks more like us.\n<\/p>\n \n We\u2019ve found our way back to it in some areas but we\u2019ve got to be a bit more clinical and I\u2019d ask for a little more concentration from some guys in some areas.\n<\/p>\n \n Q: What positives do you take from this?<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n \n SB: In periods, I thought we controlled the game well.
