Too much, perhaps \u2013 but the end result is funny, touching and well put together.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/almost-famous-nologo-productions-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to Almost Famous\" target=\"_blank\">\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Jac-Wheble-in-Almost-Famous.-Pic-Siobhan.2-190x110.jpg\" alt=\"Almost Famous\" title=\"Almost Famous\" \/><br \/>\n\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2606 Comedy and pathos<\/p>\n<p>Almost Famous by Andy Moseley, from NoLogo Productions at Surgeons\u2019 Hall for the Fringe\u2019s first fortnight, is a wry piece invested with considerable emotion.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/works-and-days-eif-2025-lyceum-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to Works and Days\" target=\"_blank\">\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Works-and-Days-\u00a9-Kurt-Van-der-Elst-9-small-190x110.jpg\" alt=\"Works and Days\" title=\"Works and Days\" \/><br \/>\n\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2606  Evocative<\/p>\n<p>Works and Days, part of the International Festival at the Lyceum for four performances only, is an arresting depiction of human history.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/the-poetical-life-of-philomena-mcguinness-moon-rabbit-theatre-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to The Poetical Life of Philomena McGuinness\" target=\"_blank\">\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail\" Poetical Life of Philomena McGuinness\" \/><br \/>\n\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2606 Finely drawn<\/p>\n<p>The Poetical Life of Philomena McGuinness, from Moon Rabbit Theatre at theSpace @ Surgeons\u2019 Hall, is a funny and affecting portrait of an everywoman trying to make her way as a nurse through the turmoil of World War II, and still retain her sense of self.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/ringing-out-the-changes-jo-clifford-st-marys-episcopal-cathedral-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to Ringing out the Changes\" target=\"_blank\">\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"thumbnail\" \/>\n\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2606 Mindful<\/p>\n<p>Ringing out the Changes at St Mary\u2019s Episcopal Cathedral \u2013 a mindful meditation of story and sound about how bells have marked personal, national and global histories \u2013 reverberates with meaning.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/queer-folks-tales-turan-ali-netherbow-theatre-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to Queer Folks\u2019 Tales\" title=\"Queer Folks\u2019 Tales\" \/><br \/>\n\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605 Triumphant<\/p>\n<p>Queer Folks\u2019 Tales at the Scottish Storytelling Centre every Wednesday of the Fringe is a powerful celebration of storytelling and community, as entertaining as it is moving.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/the-kids-always-win-hooray-productions-pleasance-courtyard-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to The Kids Always with it\u2019s fail-safe formula, at the Pleasance Courtyard until the end of the Edinburgh school holidays.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alledinburghtheatre.com\/aderyn-bird-harebell-tellers-scottish-storytelling-centre-edfringe-2025-review\/\" rel=\"bookmark noopener\" title=\"Permanent Link to Aderyn\/Bird\" heart-warming, feel-good comedy, competently staged by Leiththeatre who have been putting on productions for almost eighty years
