Crystal Palace are looking to secure their second Wembley victory in 2025 as they face Liverpool in the Community Shield. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Eberechi Eze<\/a> was the hero for Crystal Palace<\/a> in the FA Cup final as his first-half goal helped the Eagles secure a 1-0 win over Manchester City.<\/p>\n

Now, Oliver Glasner<\/a> has the opportunity to claim the second piece of silverware of his Palace reign as his side take on Liverpool<\/a> in the Community Shield. <\/p>\n

However, with Eze being linked with a move away<\/a> from Palace in the summer, all eyes will be on Glasner\u2019s team sheet for the traditional curtain-raiser to the Premier League<\/a> season to see whether Eze is included. <\/p>\n

As Palace prepare for their second trip to Wembley in three months, here is how TBR Football<\/strong> predicts how they will line up in the Community Shield<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Crystal Palace have received one boost and one blow in their forward line as they prepare to face Liverpool at Wembley. <\/p>\n

Goalkeeper: <\/strong>Fresh from his penalty save at Wembley in the FA Cup final, Dean Henderson is expected to retain his place in goal, holding off competition from Walter Benitez. <\/p>\n

Defence: <\/strong>Transfer-linked Marc Guehi<\/a> is expected to take his place at the heart of the Crystal Palace defence despite the speculation surrounding his future. Maxence Lacroix and Chris Richards are likely to start alongside him in Palace\u2019s back three.<\/p>\n

Wing-backs and midfield: <\/strong>Tyreek Mitchell is likely to start at left wing-back after new signing Borna Sosa missed out on the recent friendly against Augsburg. FA Cup final man of the match, Daniel Munoz, should start on the other flank. <\/p>\n

Adam Wharton<\/a> is fit and available to take his place in the heart of Palace\u2019s midfield and is likely to reprise his partnership with Daichi Kamada. <\/p>\n

Front Three: <\/strong>In a blow to Glasner, striker Eddie Nketiah<\/a> is not available for selection, after picking up a pre-season injury which could rule him out for six weeks. However, Jean-Philippe Mateta has been prolific in pre-season and is available to lead the line. <\/p>\n

Eze is expected to take his place on the left side of Palace\u2019s front three, with Ismaila Sarr on the right. <\/p>\n

Having tasted success in the FA Cup final, the Crystal Palace manager, Glasner, is determined for that not to be a one-off experience.<\/p>\n

He has challenged his Palace side not to take the Community Shield lightly and prove their success was no flash in the pan. <\/p>\n

Speaking to TheFA.com<\/a>, Glasner said: \u201cWe\u2019ve had a good summer, but in football \u2013 and not just in football but in life, also \u2013 the past is gone,\u201d before adding. \u201cWe have great memories that will stay with us forever, but that won\u2019t help us when the new season begins.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow is not the time to lie back and say, great, we are the Cup winners.
