Prince Andrew<\/a> is getting more and more on Prince William\u2019s<\/a> bad side as more details come out about the Duke of York<\/a>\u2018s promiscuous and controversial past. <\/p>\n

A source told The Telegraph<\/a> in a report published on August 5, 2025, that William knows \u201csomething still needs to be done\u201d with Andrew<\/a>, and he has a plan for his disgraced uncle once he becomes king. That plan includes banning Andrew from his coronation, removing his Order of the Garter, and stripping him of his \u201cPrince\u201d title, which will require legislation. <\/p>\n

Another source explained that, while William has plans to remove Andrew\u2019s \u201cPrince\u201d title, it may be more difficult than fans think. \u201cIf there was a serious move to take [a title] away, particularly at that level, you do it through both houses [of Parliament],\u201d the insider said. Another source commented, \u201cIs it likely at this point? No. But is it possible? Yes.\u201d<\/p>\n

News of William\u2019s feelings toward Andrew come after Andrew Lownie\u2019s bombshell book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York<\/a>
\n, detailed several unflattering stories about the Duke of York. One story included the claim that more than 40 women were once brought to Andrew\u2019s hotel during a stay in Bangkok in 2006 when he traveled to Thailand to represent the crown at the King of Thailand\u2019s diamond jubilee. \u201cHotel staff were used to foreigners bringing in girls, but amazed that more than 10 a day were going to Andrew\u2019s room,\u201d Lownie wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cOften, as soon as one left, another would arrive,\u201d a witness told the author.<\/p>\n

Tension between William and Andrew<\/a> also come after British royal expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News<\/a> in May 2025 that the Prince of Wales has had a \u201cgrudge against his disgraced uncle\u201d for some time and plans to exile him from the British royal family when he takes the crown after his father King Charles\u2019 death. <\/p>\n

\u201cPrince William<\/a> has long had a strained and distant relationship with Andrew,\u201d she said. \u201cAndrew\u2019s future<\/a> within the royal family is beyond bleak, since Prince William is firmly opposed to any public rehabilitation with no foreseeable path back.
