Teenage wing-back Ben Brannan’s stunning looping volley helped Kilmarnock recover from two goals down to draw with high-flying Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership.<\/b><\/p>\n
David Gray’s Hibs side started with all the momentum you would expect from a famous European victory, having beaten Partizan Belgrade 2-0 on Thursday night in Serbia in the first leg of their Europa Conference League qualifier.<\/p>\n
They made a few changes for “freshness” according to the head coach, and they looked anything but tired as they flew out the blocks.<\/p>\n
From a free-kick near the byeline, Jamie McGrath fizzed a cross to the back post where Rocky Bushiri rose to head Hibs in front.<\/p>\n
The hosts were flowing forward to create chances at will and they soon made it 2-0, when Junior Hoilett and Elie Youan played a one-two with the latter slotting under the keeper.<\/p>\n
Hibs looked comfortable but just before half-time, Killie striker Marcus Dackers turned two defenders to get to the byeline, cutting back for Liam Polworth to slot home.<\/p>\n
That goal buoyed the visitors and they were well worth their second goal, a stone-cold stunner from young Brannan.
