Americans nervous about the economy cut back on beer and donuts<\/p>\n

Molson Coors, a beer company, and donut giant Krispy Kreme are lowering their revenue outlooks for the rest of the year.<\/p>\n

Here’s another reason to wear your Crocs<\/a> on Saturday, Aug. 9: a free Krispy Kreme<\/a> doughnut.<\/p>\n

Anyone wearing Crocs into a Krispy Kreme store on Saturday gets a free Original Glazed Doughnut at participating shops.<\/p>\n

There’s no purchase necessary, but you may want to pick up the Krispy Kreme x Crocs special dozen, which features three doughnuts: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles (four each; available until Aug. 10 or while supplies last. Available for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app).<\/p>\n

Krispy Kreme Crocs are going fast<\/p>\n

As part of the Krispy Kreme and Crocs collaboration, limited-edition Krispy Kreme Crocs<\/a> ($90) became available in Crocs stores and at\u00a0crocs.com<\/a>\u00a0on Aug. 5. (Participating Krispy Kreme shops offered early access to order the Crocs on Monday, Aug. 4 by scanning a QR code.) Also available: a five-pack of Krispy Kreme Jibbitz<\/a>\u00a0($25).<\/p>\n

If you planned to plunk your dough down for Krispy Kreme Crocs, move fast because some sizes are selling out online. Some of the special Crocs are being sold on eBay<\/a> for nearly $190 a pair.<\/p>\n

Krispy Kreme also releases Pumpkin Spice Season menu<\/p>\n

In other doughnut developments, Krispy Kreme begins offering its Pumpkin Spice Season menu<\/a> on Monday, Aug. 11, including the Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Doughnut, Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Pumpkin Spice Coffee.<\/p>\n

All the Pumpkin Spice Season menu items will be available throughout the fall, except for the Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Doughnut, which will be available until Aug. 17.<\/p>\n
