\n\tThe allegations about Prince Andrew<\/a> in Andrew Lownie\u2019s upcoming book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York<\/a>, out Aug. 14, are reportedly getting to Princess Beatrice<\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tAndrew and Sarah Ferguson\u2019s two daughters have always been loyal to their controversial dad, but it\u2019s getting hard to ignore<\/a> the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and his questionable financial dealings. A source told the Daily Mail<\/a> that Beatrice and Eugenie are \u201cutterly mortified\u201d about the claims against their parents.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey\u2019re keeping a distance from [their] dad,\u201d a palace insider told the media outlet. \u201cThe extent to how much the relationship can recover will depend on what further revelations, if any, emerge.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRoyal expert Ingrid Seward believes that Beatrice will struggle the most<\/a> with the controversies. \u201cShe has always been close to her father,\u201d Seward noted. \u201cThey will both be finding this very difficult \u2013 it\u2019s a horrid time. But I\u2019m not surprised they haven\u2019t come out and said anything in his defense. For his girls to show their solidarity publicly wouldn\u2019t benefit them in any way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn October 2024, the princesses were still firmly in their father\u2019s corner<\/a>, going as far as to try and sway King Charles III to forgive Prince Andrew. \u201cThe two princesses have spoken to their uncle, asking him to forgive Andrew and for the two brothers to mend fences,\u201d a source told In Touch Weekly<\/a>. \u201cBut it remains to be seen if their requests have been heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe brothers had been feuding over Andrew staying at Royal Lodge. Charles wanted him to move to the smaller Frogmore Cottage, once occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The king was going to give Royal Lodge to Prince William and Kate Middleton, but it appears Andrew won the real estate war<\/a> as the Prince and Princess of Wales are eyeing Fort Belvedere as their new residence.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBut as the BBC <\/a>described it, Lownie\u2019s book has \u201csealed [Andrew\u2019s] fate for any return.\u201d The royal is toast. Journalist Peter Allen might have summed it up best to the U.K. news outlet about Andrew\u2019s \u201cflawed character,\u201d noting, \u201cHe\u2019s been afforded every type of privilege, all his life, while displaying very poor judgement and getting into highly compromising situations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAnd now, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have to deal with their dad\u2019s consequences.\u00a0<\/p>\n
