\n\tTom Holland<\/a> is officially back in the swing of things as Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> kicks off filming in Glasgow, Scotland.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a behind-the-scenes clip shared by Sony<\/a>, the BAFTA winner suited up as Spider-Man<\/a> for the first day of filming the Destin Daniel Cretton<\/a>-helmed fourth installment in the MCU<\/a> web-slinger franchise.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI feel good, man. It\u2019s day one, my fourth ever day one on Spider-Man<\/a>,\u201d he said in the video<\/a>. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s funny, putting the suit on, it feels different this time, somehow. It\u2019s also the first time we\u2019ve ever had fans on set for day one, so it\u2019s really exciting to share this with them.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHolland added, \u201cWe\u2019ve got some familiar faces on set. I\u2019m just gonna do my best, hopefully get it right. No pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter greeting some cosplaying fans, Holland got wired up on top of a tank, filming a scene as he ripped off the top hatch of the vehicle while it drove through the city.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tHolland previously said that he\u2019s \u201cover the moon and so excited<\/a>\u201d to film on location after filming Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) entirely on soundstages because of the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNow, we\u2019re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we\u2019re starting in Glasgow and we\u2019re gonna use the streets of Glasgow to build this massive set-piece that we\u2019re putting together,\u201d Holland detailed. \u201cSo it\u2019s gonna feel like making [2017\u2019s] Spider-Man 1 again. It\u2019s been such a long time since I\u2019ve done it, it\u2019s gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are going to be over the moon with what we\u2019re putting together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn October, Sony added Spider-Man: Brand New Day to its summer 2026 schedule<\/a> with a July 24 release date, later revealing the title<\/a> in March at CinemaCon.<\/p>\n

\n\tHelmed by Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Cretton, producers include Amy Pascal and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige returning.
