{"id":334697,"date":"2025-08-11T03:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-08-11T03:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/334697\/"},"modified":"2025-08-11T03:00:25","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T03:00:25","slug":"pursuit-ends-with-airborne-vehicle-three-injuries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/334697\/","title":{"rendered":"Pursuit ends with airborne vehicle, three injuries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/edsall-chase-VSP.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img data-no-lazy=\"\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/edsall-chase-VSP.jpg\" alt=\"edsall chase VSP\" width=\"555\" height=\"312\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><\/a>Image courtesy Virginia State Police<\/p>\n<p>A high-speed pursuit, at times over 100 mph, caused a fleeing sedan to become airborne, injuring three people in <a href=\"https:\/\/augustafreepress.com\/tag\/prince-william-county\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Prince William County<\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The pursuit began at approximately 10:30 p.m. when a Honda sedan was spotted by a <a href=\"https:\/\/augustafreepress.com\/tag\/virginia-state-police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>State Police<\/strong><\/a> trooper on <a href=\"https:\/\/augustafreepress.com\/tag\/interstate-95\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Interstate 95<\/strong><\/a> northbound. The trooper attempted a traffic stop near the 158 mile-marker, but the vehicle fled, and a pursuit was initiated.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect vehicle continued northbound at speeds above 100 mph.\u00a0 The suspect vehicle continued onto <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Interstate_395_(Virginia%E2%80%93District_of_Columbia)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Interstate 395<\/strong><\/a> northbound, where it attempted to leave the interstate at exit 2A for <strong>Edsall Road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve at the exit, causing the sedan to become airborne.\u00a0 The suspect vehicle then collided with another vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The occupants of the non-suspect vehicle, both of <a class=\"general-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fxva.com\/explore\/discover-neighborhoods\/springfield\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Springfield<\/strong><\/a>, suffered serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the suspect vehicle, <strong>Cameron D. Teach<\/strong>, 22, of Henrico, had to be extricated from the sedan.
