Motoring experts have claimed an iconic Range Rover<\/a> model is one of the \u201cbest\u201d British-built used cars on the market. Specialists at Autocar<\/a> pointed out the Range River Mk3 built between 2001 and 2012 as being among the very best on the road.<\/p>\n

The car experts praised the machine for offering a great blend of “performance and luxury\u201d and was wowed at the price. Autocar<\/a> said examples could be picked up for under \u00a315,000 with a great model on sale for just \u00a314,500 when conducting their study. The Range Rover<\/a> sat at the very top of their list of best British used cars to own right making it a vehicle not to be forgotten.<\/p>\n

Autocar said: \u201cThe Range Rover has been Britain\u2019s unofficial ambassador for more than 50 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur favourite is this third-generation version. It was developed by BMW and offers a fine blend of performance, luxury and off-road ability, and prices for this model are fair.\u201d<\/p>\n

The full-size luxury SUV is famed for its luxurious ride<\/a> and off-road capabilities. The model also benefitted from a spacious interior making it ideal for the entire family to enjoy.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Underneath the bonnet, the Range Rover certainly packed a punch and was offered in a range of engine specifications including a 4.4-liter V8 and a 5.0-liter V8.<\/p>\n

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson<\/a> even claimed the L322 Mk3 model was perhaps the \u201cbest Range Rover ever\u201d.<\/p>\n

He didn\u2019t stop there, later clarifying the model was possibly the \u201cbest car ever made\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Harry\u2019s Garage<\/a>, Jeremy added: \u201cPeople say to me what\u2019s the best car ever made and I would say a Lexus LFA or something of that nature.<\/p>\n

But the truth of the matter is this is probably the best car ever made. You once famously said it\u2019s got the DNA of a transit van which it does.<\/p>\n

AutoExpress<\/a> Has previously claimed the Mk3 Range Rover \u201cset a fresh benchmark in this booming market\u201d at the turn of the new millennium.<\/p>\n

They even suggested the model was worthy of its mark among the \u201call-time greats\u201d potentially making it a modern classic of the future.<\/p>\n

They explained: \u201cIt\u2019s testament to the brilliance of the original design that the car still feels at the top of its game, nearly a decade after making its debut.<\/p>\n
