So it kind of makes sense that the venue is celebrating a landmark year in 2025 by collaborating with another of London\u2019s most iconic tourist attractions.<\/p>\n<p>The Farringdon nightclub has gone all out in the run-up to its 25th birthday this October, with a year-long series of celebrations that include a world tour, a huge event series, Fabric Invites, featuring nights curated by some of the most talented DJs around, and a mahoosive 30-hour long birthday megarave.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now, the superclub has announced the latest event in the Fabric25 programme: a party at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/museums\/british-museum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">British Museum<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yeah, really.\u00a0Having already staged parties at tourist attractions including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/attractions\/st-pauls-cathedral-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St Paul\u2019s Cathedral<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/music\/london-coliseum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">London Coliseum<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/attractions\/the-view-from-the-shard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The View From The Shard<\/a>, the city\u2019s most famous club is taking up residency at its most famous museum for a one-off party on Friday May 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The world-renowned museum\u2019s majestic\u00a0Reading Room, Room 17 \u2013 home of the ancient Lycian Nereid Monument \u2013 and the museum\u2019s China and South Asia gallery will be the backdrop for a truly memorable party that hopes to highlight electronic music\u2019s relevance as a contemporary art form.<\/p>\n<p>Headlining the Friday night festivities will be A Guy Called Gerald, the Mancunian dance music legend behind 1989 hit \u2018Voodoo Ray\u2019, whose work was instrumental in sparking the acid house movement. <\/p>\n<p>Also on the line-up is vinyl selector and fabric resident\u00a0Anna Wall, whose sets traverse dub techno, acid and classic house, and\u00a0NIGHT manoeuvres, a new collaborative project from DJ and producer ABSOLUTE and London Grammar\u2019s Dot Major, which promises to be a genre-bending journey through UK bass, dubstep and leftfield techno.<\/p>\n<p>Fancy raving among some ancient ruins?
