German far-right leader Tino Chrupalla suggested Ukraine should cede territory to\u00a0Russia to\u00a0end the war, prompting a\u00a0sharp rebuke from Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksii Makeiev, who posted on\u00a0the social network X\u00a0on\u00a0August\u00a011.<\/p>\n

The ambassador dismissed<\/a> the idea as\u00a0\u201ccouch diplomacy\u201d and challenged Chrupalla to\u00a0give up\u00a0his own region instead. <\/p>\n

Tino Chrupalla, co-leader of\u00a0Germany\u2019s far-right party Alternative for Germany (AfD), recently suggested that Ukraine should consider ceding part of\u00a0its territory to\u00a0Russia as\u00a0a\u00a0preferable alternative to\u00a0Germany becoming further involved in\u00a0the Russian war against Ukraine.<\/p>\n
