{"id":336092,"date":"2025-08-11T15:52:14","date_gmt":"2025-08-11T15:52:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/336092\/"},"modified":"2025-08-11T15:52:14","modified_gmt":"2025-08-11T15:52:14","slug":"durham-cricket-confirm-carlisles-stanley-mcalindon-to-leave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/336092\/","title":{"rendered":"Durham Cricket confirm Carlisle&#8217;s Stanley McAlindon to leave"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The 21-year-old from Carlisle will depart\u00a0the Riverside at the end of his contract.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  McAlindon has progressed through Durham&#8217;s academy over the last five years, making his first-class debut in 2022 aged 18.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsandstar.co.uk\/news\/20873348.durhams-teenage-cumbrian-cricket-star-stanley-mcalindon-makes-england-under-19-debut\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">England Under-19 international<\/a> has recently been playing club cricket for Tynemouth as well as regular action for Durham&#8217;s Second XI this summer.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  With his latest rookie deal at Durham set to expire, the county&#8217;s director of cricket Marcus North <a href=\"https:\/\/www.durhamcricket.co.uk\/news-and-media\/mitchell-killeen-to-depart-durham-for-essex\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cStan will leave us at the end of the season, having been a member of our squad for the last five years.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;We wish him all the success in his future endeavours.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Durham&#8217;s announcement came as they also confirmed that Mitchell Killeen will be leaving the club after turning down a new deal.
