A former royal photographer claims that Queen Camilla<\/a><\/strong> is concerned about Prince William<\/a><\/strong> \u201ctrying to create issues\u201d in the monarchy. As a result, she\u2019s pressuring her husband, King Charles<\/a><\/strong>, to tell his son to back off.<\/p>\n

While praising Charles for his leadership, photographer Ian Pelham Turner suggested that the British Royal Family needs to set the record straight on who\u2019s in charge.<\/p>\n

\u201cCharles has great humanity,\u201d he said. \u201cI think he just needed the corners smoothed out, and I think that\u2019s what Camilla has done<\/a> more than anything \u2026 There\u2019s nothing I can sort of prove, and say, \u2018This is the case.\u2019 But I get the feeling \u2026 that [Camilla sees] William trying to create issues, and she\u2019s told Charles to stop it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Is Prince William \u201ccreating issues\u201d in the monarchy?<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the former royal photographer told The Mirror US<\/a>, \u201cI want Charles to have his time \u2026 In a lot of ways, he is a very good king \u2026 In his life now, with Camilla by his side, Camilla is a much stronger person, I think, for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before leaving the employ of the Royal Family, Ian covered Prince William and Kate Middleton\u2019s<\/a> wedding in 2011. He remembers that when Charles and William arrived at the church, they rushed right inside without first acknowledging the throng outside. The crowd of 10,000 royal fans was clearly disappointed to not get at least a smile and a wave.<\/p>\n

But after the ceremony, when Charles and Camilla were sitting in their carriage, the former employee saw her turn to her husband and urge him to \u201cWave.\u201d Following his wife\u2019s instruction, Charles smiled and waved to the crowd, drawing cheers.<\/p>\n

While it might not seem a big thing, people notice the small things and it affects his public image. Ian thinks Camilla has a way of helping Charles to be a better person. Despite the fact that the Queen is \u201cstill vilified by women over 50, because they remember [Princess] Diana<\/a>,\u201d Camilla has \u201cactually taught Charles how to be human.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Ian first met Charles, he was still married to Diana. He recognizes how much things have changed since then.<\/p>\n

Recently, Charles\u2019 representatives met with Prince Harry\u2019s<\/a> reps at a members only club to discuss Harry\u2019s possible reconciliation<\/a> with the Royal Family. Rather than having a closed-door meeting, the group met on an outdoor balcony, in clear view of photographers. Ian sees Camilla\u2019s hand in this new openness and thinks the public should know.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe balcony shot, was the first shot across the bows,\u201d he commented. \u201cA lot of influence probably came from Camilla \u2026 It\u2019s been rumored for a while, that William has been trying to push \u2026 that he\u2019s the driving force behind the throne. And I think Charles should be.\u201d<\/p>\n
