Wrexham will be without manager Phil Parkinson for their League One fixture against Bristol Rovers on Friday, April 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wrexham<\/a> return to League One action with two fixtures in the space of four days over the Easter weekend.<\/p>\n

First up for the Red Dragons is a clash with League One strugglers Bristol Rovers at 3pm on Good Friday.<\/p>\n

Bristol Rovers are fighting relegation right now, while Wrexham are competing with Wycombe Wanderers<\/a> to secure automatic promotion at the other end of the table.<\/p>\n

As a result, the meeting at the Racecourse Ground<\/a> on April 18 is of huge importance to both clubs.<\/p>\n

Wrexham are only one point above Wycombe with a worse goal difference, so anything other than a draw is likely to see them slip out of the top two.<\/p>\n

And they will have to take on their latest opponents with manager Phil Parkinson<\/a> reduced to a very limited role.<\/p>\n

The battle for promotion took an unwanted turn last weekend when Wrexham drew 0-0 with Wigan Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It was a poor display from the Welsh outfit, who failed to have a single shot on target across the entire 90 minutes.<\/p>\n

To make matters worse, Parkinson was shown a yellow card during the meeting by the referee on the day.<\/p>\n

It was Parky\u2019s third yellow of the 2024\/25 campaign, meaning he\u2019s now set to serve a one-match ban when Wrexham face Bristol Rovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The manager will, of course, still be in attendance for the fixture, but can\u2019t be on the touchline during the tie.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, we predict Wrexham will beat Bristol Rovers<\/a> and keep a clean sheet even without the services of their manager.<\/p>\n

And as it is only a one-match ban, the players will have their boss back barking orders at them from the sidelines in just a few days.<\/p>\n

Owing to it being Easter weekend in the UK, Wrexham play another League One fixture on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n
