{"id":337205,"date":"2025-08-12T01:37:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T01:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/337205\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T01:37:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T01:37:12","slug":"leeds-bradford-airport-in-yeadon-evacuated-for-fire-alarm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/337205\/","title":{"rendered":"Leeds Bradford Airport in Yeadon evacuated for fire alarm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Jet setters and holidaygoers were forced to leave the airport terminal.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Footage online showed crowds\u00a0of people standing outside the front of the airport\u2019s entrance, among buses and other vehicles.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A spokesperson for LBA, which is in Yeadon, confirmed the airport was evacuated, but passengers are now \u201cback in the building and on their way\u201d as it was a false alarm.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  They said: \u201cWe had an evacuation of the terminal earlier today due to a fire alarm sounding.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Thankfully, it was a false alarm.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cPassengers are now back in the building and on their way.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  There were some queues getting customers back into the building and through security.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  But this was done with flight order priority to ensure minimal disruption.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jet setters and holidaygoers were forced to leave the airport terminal.
