Leeds United<\/a> have sanctioned a handful of loans already with two players heading out to the EFL for second successive stints at the same club, while there is not yet a resolution for Sam Greenwood<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Heading into the Premier League, there was bound to be a review in Leeds\u2019 squad as to who will be part of the plans and who won\u2019t be.<\/p>\n

Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Crew and Mateo Joseph all completed loan moves last week to get more guaranteed playing time, while Sam Greenwood remains at Elland Road as things stand.<\/p>\n

For now, Greenwood is not part of the first team at Thorp Arch as pre-season preparations come to a conclusion, sharing an Instagram video of his solo training work in front of goal \u2013 \u201csharpening the tools,\u201d he wrote:<\/p>\n

Someone of Greenwood\u2019s skill set would definitely be a solid addition to a side at the lower end of the Championship, after scoring a solid amount at Preston last season.<\/p>\n

When you see Sheffield Wednesday\u2019s dire need for depth, or Oxford United leaning heavily into their set-piece output, Greenwood would be a solid fit for both.<\/p>\n

Even a loan for him in the 25\/26 season would essentially end his time at Elland Road, and it\u2019s about time he got a long-term move away, given that he\u2019s just not part of the plans here.<\/p>\n
