{"id":337269,"date":"2025-08-12T02:12:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T02:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/337269\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T02:12:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T02:12:12","slug":"uk-weather-hot-weather-to-peak-amid-water-shortage-fears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/337269\/","title":{"rendered":"UK weather: Hot weather to peak amid water shortage fears"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">The amber heat health alert \u2013  issued by the <a href=\"https:\/\/ukhsa-dashboard.data.gov.uk\/weather-health-alerts\" class=\"ssrcss-f6h2dj-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UK Health Security Agency, external<\/a> \u2013 begins across the Midlands, East Anglia, London and South East England at 09:00 and continues until 18:00 on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">North East England, North West England, Yorkshire and Humber and south-west England have a yellow alert for the same period. <\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Yellow alerts warn of possible impacts on health and social services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Temperatures across Scotland and Northern Ireland could reach 23-26C, maybe 27C in eastern Scotland and the Borders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10\">Much of England and Wales could see 25-28C, but the low 30s are again likely for central and southern England, and south-east Wales.
