From trains and trams to bikes and buses; those handy things that\u2019s ferry us around the city will always have our interest piqued. And it seems as though we\u2019re not alone, as someone has just created a game-changing new map of the<strong> London Underground<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, I know what you\u2019re thinking. There\u2019s nothing particularly pioneering about a<strong> London Tube map<\/strong>. But, let me tell you, folks \u2013 this is not any old London Tube map. This is a live London Tube map that details the<strong> exact location, destination and model<\/strong> of each train \u2013 in real time. Pretty revolutionary, right?<\/p>\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-279119\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/live-tube-map-3-666x400.jpg\" alt=\"An image of the new live London Underground tube map\" width=\"666\" height=\"400\"  \/>Image from londonunderground.live <\/p>\n<p>Created by engineer and writer, <strong>Ben James<\/strong>; the animated map uses <strong>Transport for London open data<\/strong> to pinpoint exactly where each train is, where it\u2019s heading, and when it will reach the next few stations. The same recognisable colours that we know and love represent the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/most-underground-tube-lines\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/most-underground-tube-lines\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_internal\">Tube lines<\/a>, and each station is shown with a circle. You can watch as the trains move along the lines in real time, and are able to see any <strong>traffic, delays, or blockages<\/strong> along the way.<\/p>\n<p>As well as being incredibly useful, it\u2019s also just very entertaining to use. The interactive map allows you to zoom in and out. When fully zoomed out, you can see an <strong>expansive topography<\/strong> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/best-things-to-do-london\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/best-things-to-do-london\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_2\" data-category=\"click_internal\">capital city<\/a>, and as you zoom in, 3D images of iconic <a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/sightseeing-london-map-walking-route\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_self\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/sightseeing-london-map-walking-route\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_3\" data-category=\"click_internal\">London landmarks<\/a> are revealed.
