\n The midfielder, signed from Lincoln City this summer, has appeared off the bench in both of Bolton\u2019s League One games so far and played in last week\u2019s B Team friendly at Liverpool.\n<\/p>\n
\n But with Steven Schumacher looking to make changes and keep his whole squad match-ready for the weekend trip to Barnsley, Erhahon is one of the players who will get their chance at the Toughsheet.\n<\/p>\n
\n Eoin Toal reported some cramp after Saturday\u2019s win against Plymouth Argyle and the club is also keeping an eye on Jordi Osei-Tutu, who missed some of pre-season because of a back issue.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe have to be mindful that we don\u2019t overdo it with some of them,\u201d Schumacher said. \u201cWe will make changes against Sheffield Wednesday because I also want people to stake a claim too.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cEthan Erhahon has been in the building for a week or two now and he has shown some really good signs. He definitely played well against Liverpool through the week.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cI think everyone should be champing at the bit, so whatever changes we make and personnel we play, I don\u2019t see it as weakening the team. It just isn\u2019t going to be that.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWe want to win the game and we have to have a good attitude because it\u2019s Sheffield Wednesday \u2013 a Championship outfit \u2013 and we need to make sure we\u2019re prepared.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n Wednesday have endured a torrid summer of financial issues and calls for the club\u2019s owner Dejphon Chansiri to move on.\n<\/p>\n
\n Reports of late payments to HMRC, delayed salaries for players and staff members, and transfer embargos at Hillsborough will bring back some bad memories for Bolton supporters, who were going though exactly the same issues six years ago.\n<\/p>\n
\n Schumacher will be using the game to get more of his players up to top speed and is looking for the same sort of reaction from those coming back into the starting line-up as he got at the weekend.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cIt is going to be a squad game,\u201d he said. \u201cIt can\u2019t be that we just pick 11 players and that\u2019s my best team, I\u2019ve never done that.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cYou need the whole squad, when people are in form, they’ve got to play,\u00a0and when they’re tired in games or when it’s not quite working out\u00a0how you wanted to plan, you’ve got to be able to adjust and change it.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cBut I think the most pleasing thing is that, for example,\u00a0George Johnston was left out of the team last week,\u00a0and I told him on Thursday he wasn’t playing, and he trained unbelievably well.\u00a0He showed a great attitude, like a leader, that’s why he’s in the leadership group.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe was unlucky not to play against Stockport but then he came into the team and was excellent.\u00a0And then Chris Forino over the last two days has been brilliant,\u00a0encouraging the other lads about set-pieces, making sure they were organised,\u00a0 his body language has been good.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n
