Picture: Ryan Dinham<\/p>\n<p>The two groups will be joining forces for a co-headline show, following in the footsteps of the likes of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kentonline.co.uk\/whats-on\/news\/dreamland-welcomes-home-the-libertines-326786\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Libertines<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kentonline.co.uk\/whats-on\/news\/who-needs-glastonbury-when-you-have-margate-326439\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HAIM<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kentonline.co.uk\/whats-on\/news\/madness-gig-was-such-a-house-of-fun-328117\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madness <\/a>and more, who have already performed at the venue this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Razorlight, fronted by Johnny Borrell, formed in 2002 and are known for UK Top 10 singles America, In the Morning and Somewhere Else.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rthmb\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns=\" http:=\"\" viewbox=\"0 0 1000 630\" alt=\"Razorlight&#x2019;s Johnny Borrell has fronted the band since its inception in 2002\" data-root=\"\/_media\/img\/\" data-path=\"CPR47BA1LF0AXHZJC7TM.jpg\" data-ar=\"1.59\"\/>Razorlight\u2019s Johnny Borrell has fronted the band since its inception in 2002<\/p>\n<p>The band, which split in 2014 but returned with the 2024 album Planet Nowhere, now includes members Bj\u00f6rn \u00c5gren, Carl Dalemo and Andy Burrows.<\/p>\n<p>Since the release of their debut album, A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation, in 2007, The Wombats have racked up five Top 10 albums.<\/p>\n<p>Their 2022 record, Fix Yourself Not the World, reached the No. 1 spot in the charts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"rthmb\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg xmlns=\" http:=\"\" viewbox=\"0 0 6720 4059\" alt=\"The Wombats released their sixth album, Oh! Picture: Julia Godfrey<\/p>\n<p>The group, from Liverpool, are best known for singles such as Moving to New York and Let\u2019s Dance to Joy Division.<\/p>\n<p>The two headliners will be supported at their Margate gig by indie group Sunday (1994) and alt-rock band Talk Show.<\/p>\n<p>Razorlight and The Wombats will be at Dreamland on Friday, August 22.
