Prince Harry<\/a> needs to stop portraying himself as \u201cthe victim\u201d because the public has had enough of hearing \u201chow awful his life is,\u201d according to a former palace staffer.<\/p>\n

Ailsa Anderson, who had worked as the late Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s press secretary for 12 years, slammed the Duke of Sussex for his \u201cwoe is me\u201d antics in a scathing new documentary about the exiled royal.<\/p>\n

Speaking in Channel 5\u2019s documentary, \u201cPrince Harry: My Terrible Year,\u201d<\/a> Anderson \u2014 who had worked \u201cvery closely\u201d with the \u201cSpare\u201d author before his royal exit \u2014 said the duke is \u201ctoo impulsive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cStop being the victim and start being the hero of the piece, start writing your own script. I think people are just getting a little bit tired of how Prince Harry thinks the world is against him and how awful his life is,\u201d said Anderon, who had worked for the late monarch from 2001 to 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think trust is paramount in every walk of life, if you can\u2019t trust your family, who can you trust?\u201d<\/p>\n

Anderson further asserted that if King Charles and Prince William, who have both been totally estranged from the Sussexes for years, were to welcome Harry back, \u201cprivate information would then be leaked.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, the former royal staffer added that the Invictus Games founder was a \u201cvery warm, engaging and kind person\u201d who has simply lost his way.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the doc, experts suggested that while the duke does want to reconcile with his loved ones, his \u201cego\u201d remains in the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cReconciliation is absolutely possible with moments of accountability and responsibility on both sides,\u201d said psychotherapist Emma Reed Turrell.<\/p>\n

And while the investigating body found \u201cno evidence\u201d of the claims against Harry, royal historian Tessa Dunlop claimed that the Sentebale scandal<\/a> has been very damaging for the duke<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure [the Sussexes] are not always easy to work with.\u00a0She [Chandauka] weaponized Prince Harry\u2019s own words used against him, suggesting Harry has been a malevolent influence on the direction of the charity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re also still talking and writing about Harry, I think there is one thing worse than writing and talking about him, and that\u2019s us going silent. Maybe he can find a new mission,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
