Yet, what numerous visitors frequently overlook is exploring the nation&#8217;s more obscure cities that are equally stunning as the better-known attractions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Travel enthusiast Kristina Cors, who regularly uses social media platforms to share her journey tips, has revealed a &#8216;hidden treasure&#8217; in Spain that sits merely 20 minutes from Malaga and <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/news\/uk-world-news\/underrated-french-beach-town-fairytale-10397892\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">appears to come straight from a storybook.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Posting on TikTok, where she boasts more than 751,300 followers, she highlighted one destination she believed every Spain visitor should experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;When people go to Malaga, Spain and miss places like this 20 minutes away,&#8221; she captioned the footage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She proceeded to showcase clips from her trip to Colomares Castle, situated in the town of Benalma\u0301dena in southern Spain. Despite the castle&#8217;s ancient appearance, it was constructed between 1987 to 1994, and was devoted to the life and expeditions of Christopher Columbus.<\/p>\n<p>Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Spanning 1,500 metres, it stands as the world&#8217;s largest tribute to the explorer, whilst also housing the globe&#8217;s tiniest church, occupying merely 1.96 square metres. In her video, Kristina displayed glimpses of the castles from various perspectives, most of which featured flowers blooming magnificently in the scenic footage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She was also captured strolling around the castle grounds and positioned on a balcony, absorbing the vistas that appeared straight from a storybook.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Don&#8217;t go to Spain without visiting THIS incredible castle,&#8221; she penned in the video&#8217;s caption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Numerous individuals swiftly flocked to the comments section, with many drawing comparisons between the castle and &#8216;The Spring Court&#8217; from the fantasy novel series A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Wow,&#8221; one person simply commented, whilst another remarked: &#8221; Been there once, really worth a visit!&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;I live 5 minutes away from this castle and it&#8217;s stunning,&#8221; another viewer noted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">&#8220;Omg&#8230; I feel like I&#8217;m in a fairytale,&#8221; a fourth person declared.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">If you&#8217;re exploring Malaga but prefer not to drive the 20 minutes to reach Colomares Castle, another individual suggested: &#8220;[Take] the train from Malaga to Arroyo de la Miel, then bus to the village of Benalmadena pueblo.
