A new range has landed at the popular family pub chain\"Emma<\/p>\n

It’s known for its giant cakes, but family pub chain Farmhouse Inns has just gone one better with the addition of a new Biscoff range.<\/p>\n

Three items have been added to the dessert menu, including The Big Biscoff Cake, The Golden Crunch Biscoff Sundae and The Biscoff Crumble Cheesecake.<\/p>\n

We were first in line to try the new treats at Farmhouse Kitchen Worsley, which is also part of the company, but there are Farmhouse Inns across Greater Manchester<\/a>, including Barley Farm in Eccles<\/a>, Salford; Pine Tree Farm in Over Hulton, Bolton<\/a>; Ash Tree Farm in Ashton<\/a>, Tameside<\/a>; Coppice Wood Farm, near the Trafford Centre and Bramley Farm in Altrincham.<\/p>\n

Sharing the desserts between four of us, we really were spoilt for choice. Since Biscoff branched out from those mini biscuits to become the hit it is today, it’s become our go-to flavour in every kind of dessert and shake.<\/p>\n

Unlike other places that have jumped on board the trend, this Biscoff is the real deal – certified with the prestigious Biscoff \u2018Created With\u2019 stamp which guarantees a powerful Biscoff taste – and you can taste it prominently in each of these creations.<\/p>\n

As self-confessed Biscoff aficionados, we honestly struggled to pick a favourite.<\/p>\n

The cheesecake, priced \u00a35.49, is probably the lightest option for pudding, a silky smooth cheesecake filling on a crunchy Biscoff base, topped with lashings of Biscoff sauce.<\/p>\n

Scoops of clotted cream flavour Beechdean ice cream, layered with crumbled Biscoff biscuits and sauce makes the sundae, also \u00a35.49, more of a substantial dessert – and a delicious one at that – topped with a helping of fluffy whipped cream, a drizzle of sauce and one of the iconic biscuits for good measure.<\/p>\n

For me, it’s the cake, priced \u00a35.99, that takes this \u2018Best of Biscoff’ range to a different level. Promising to ‘transport you to Biscoff heaven’ it pretty much did and we found ourselves fork fighting to get another mouthful of the creation featuring ‘creamy layers of Biscoff sauce sandwiched between three tiers of airy caramel sponge, all encased in an indulgent Biscoff frosting, crunchy Biscoff crumb and even more oozing Biscoff sauce’.<\/p>\n

A touch more frosting and sauce wouldn’t have gone amiss – when the cake slices are as big as this everything needs supersizing – but it comes with either ice cream or pouring cream to keep it moist.<\/p>\n

The desserts are freshly made in house at the pubs – which are also offering a kids eat free deal during the school holidays<\/a> – and are on the menu for at least the next six months.
