Jack Grealish has completed his season-long loan move to Everton from Manchester City.<\/p>\n
An option to buy in the region of \u00a350million ($67.3m) will be included for a player who City bought from a British player record fee of \u00a3100million, on a six-year deal, in 2021 from Aston Villa.<\/p>\n
\u201cI’m over the moon to have signed for Everton. It’s massive for me, honestly. This is a great club, with great fans,\u201d Grealish told Everton media.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs soon as I spoke to the manager, I knew there was only one place that I wanted to go. On social media, I’ve been flooded with messages from Everton supporters. That’s another reason why I chose Everton.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old will wear the No. 18 shirt at Everton.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were other numbers but my two favourite English players ever are Wayne Rooney and Paul Gascoigne and I know they both wore number 18 here,\u201d Grealish said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI spoke to Wayne before I came here and I mentioned that to him \u2014 about the number 18 \u2014 so I hope he’s happy as well!\u201d<\/p>\n
Grealish has won the Premier League three times with City, as well as the Champions League, FA Cup and the Club World Cup. He made 50 appearances in the 2022-23 campaign as City won the treble, starting every knockout game in the Champions League.<\/p>\n
Grealish made only 16 starts in all competitions last season and just seven in the Premier League. <\/p>\n
