The Robins have a new setback to contend with.<\/p>\n

Hull KR are managing a mystery training ground setback ahead of their clash with Wigan Warriors.<\/p>\n

The Robins are preparing for their epic showdown with the defending Super League champions and have been boosted by the positive progress made by Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, who is in line to make a return from a calf niggle.<\/p>\n

But head coach Willie Peters revealed they had suffered a setback in training on Tuesday, leaving an unnamed player in doubt.<\/p>\n

On Waerea-Hargreaves, Peters said: “He got through training today. We’ll make a final call on him in the week, but I’d like to think after what I’ve seen today that he’s good to go.”<\/p>\n

Mikey Lewis has recovered from the shoulder stinger that required a half-time injection during the victory over Castleford Tigers last week, while Sam Luckley’s head gash will not prevent him from playing.<\/p>\n

“We just had a session then; we’re in decent shape, but we’ve had a minor training issue that we need to look at,” Peters stated. “We’ll find out later in the week where that sits and how the scans go.”<\/p>\n

Wigan are also currently dealing with injuries, with Junior Nsemba ruled out after failing an HIA in their 24-18 victory over Warrington Wolves, whilst Bevan French continues to be a concern due to a calf problem, as is Luke Thompson.<\/p>\n

Rovers are without Tyrone May through suspension and Oliver Gildart through a long-term knee injury.
