{"id":339616,"date":"2025-08-12T22:52:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-12T22:52:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/339616\/"},"modified":"2025-08-12T22:52:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T22:52:11","slug":"wellingborough-man-dies-on-london-victoria-train-line-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/339616\/","title":{"rendered":"Wellingborough: Man dies on London Victoria train line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Police were called to the track near Wellingborough, between Kettering and Bedford around 12.45pm today (August 12).\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Officers and medics arrived, but a person was pronounced dead at the scene.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Enquiries are now ongoing into the circumstances leading to the death.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  East Midlands Railway services between London St Pancras, Corby, Nottingham and Sheffield face \u201cmajor disruption\u201d until the end of the day.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Trains may be cancelled or severely delayed by up to 90 minutes.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  A BTP spokesperson said: &#8220;Officers were called to the line near Wellingborough at around 12.45pm today (12 August) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances leading up to their death.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n    If you&#8217;ve been affected by what happened on the network today, there is always someone to talk to.
