However, she did gush over Dane, who will be returning to the show following his <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/04\/eric-dane-als-1236366193\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ALS diagnosis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cEric and I have been friends for a long time. A long time,\u201d Stone said in an interview with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zrVvyS6GE2M\">Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cAnd I actually was like his support staff when he was trying to get the job on Euphoria. The disease gets worse over time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn an <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/06\/eric-dane-als-gma-1236434708\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview with Good Morning America in June<\/a>, Dane said, \u201cI\u2019m fighting as much as I can. There\u2019s so much about it that\u2019s out of my control.\u201d The actor also said, \u201cIn my heart, I just don\u2019t feel like this is the end of me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDane plays the role of Cal Jacobs in the Sam Levinson series.
