Photograph: Sean Gallup\/Getty Images<\/p>\n The series of calls will begin with internal consultations<\/strong> between European leaders and Zelenskyy around 2pm local time, followed by a call with Trump<\/strong> an hour later and a debrief of \u201cthe coalition of the willing\u201d later.<\/strong><\/p>\n The call with Trump will be the European leaders\u2019 last chance to substantially shape Trump\u2019s thoughts going into the meeting in Alaska<\/strong> on Friday, and repeat some of the red lines put forward by Ukraine<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Zelenskyy has previously said Ukraine could not agree to a Russian proposal to give up more of his country\u2019s territory in exchange for a ceasefire<\/strong> because Moscow would use what it gained as a springboard to start a future war.<\/p>\n
