An English singer has been forced to pull the plug on a gig after \u2018falling ill\u2019 just hours before he was due on stage.<\/p>\n
Rag\u2019n\u2019Bone Man<\/a> \u2013 real name Rory Charles Graham \u2013 first rose to fame in 2016 with his single Human, with the album of the same name then becoming the fastest selling debut album<\/a> by a male in the UK for the decade.<\/p>\n Soon after the 40-year-old from Eastbourne was named the British breakthrough act at the Brit Awards<\/a> and won another Brit for the best British single for his break-out track.<\/p>\n He\u2019s since released two more albums and while the singer has been performing across Europe<\/a> over the summer, he\u2019s had to cancel his latest show \u2013 which had been scheduled tonight in Lithuania.<\/p>\n A statement posted on his Instagram today explained: \u2018Show cancellation today. We\u2019re deeply sorry to let you know that today\u2019s concert in Kaunas has been cancelled as Rag\u2019n\u2019Bone Man has unfortunately fallen ill. He is currently seeking medical care and we wish him a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n \u2018We know many of you were looking forward to the show and may have travelled or made special plans, we truly appreciate your understanding at this time.<\/p>\n \t\t \u2018Rory will be so upset to have to cancel this show and will be working hard to schedule a show in Lithuania soon.\u2019<\/p>\n The post was also captioned: \u2018Today\u2019s concert in Kaunas has been cancelled due to Rag\u2019n\u2019Bone Man unfortunately falling ill. For ticket refunds, please contact your ticket distributor\/the point of ticket sale from which you purchased.\u2019<\/p>\n The musician is next set to perform in Poland at the Bittersweet Festival in Pozna\u0144 later this week.<\/p>\n He was quickly met with messages of support from fans, who wished him a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n \u2018We were about to leave home and drive to Kaunas when I got the email, very sad news but Rory\u2019s health is more important. Get better,\u2019 Sandra wrote.<\/p>\n \u2018Take care and we\u2019re waiting for you,\u2019 Zax shared.<\/p>\n \u2018Wishing u a speedy recovery man,\u2019 Helena added.<\/p>\n \t\t In an interview with Clash<\/a> last year, he spoke about his love of touring.<\/p>\n \u2018I think I just enjoy doing loads! I take on as much as possible to make this work,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n \u2018It is exhausting\u2026 but I love playing live.
