Bert Baker, 19, has been charged with throwing corrosive fluid with the intent to burn or maim.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The victim was attacked in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bristolpost.co.uk\/all-about\/brislington\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Brislington<\/a> on Monday, August 11.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">An ambulance rushed him to hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">He has since been discharged and is being supported by police officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Avon and Somerset Police said: \u201cA 19-year-old will appear in court today following an assault in Bristol.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cBert Baker, of Wootton Road, in St Annes, was charged overnight with having a corrosive substance in a public place and throwing a corrosive fluid with intent to burn or maim.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe charge follows a police investigation into an incident which occurred in Birchwood Road, Brislington, on Monday 11 August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cA teenage boy was taken to hospital after a substance was sprayed at him.
