A EuroMillions ticket worth \u00a31m has just hours to be cashed in after being purchased in Liverpool. The winner bought their ticket for the Valentine’s Day<\/a> draw earlier this year, with a race against time underway to track down the lucky ticketholder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ECHO <\/a>previously reported there was just a week for the mystery ticketholder to come forward to claim the prize after the winning ticket was bought in Liverpool. The winning Millionaire Maker code for this prize was TVXM 66825.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the EuroMillions said the prize is yet to be won and the ticketholder has until the end of today, Wednesday, August 13, to get in touch before it expires.<\/p>\n

Andy Carter, senior winners\u2019 advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery<\/a>, said last week: \u201cWe are rapidly approaching the deadline to claim this amazing EuroMillions prize, but we\u2019ve not yet been contacted by the rightful ticketholder to claim their money, despite numerous appeals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is still time though, but time is short with just one week left for this ticketholder to get in touch.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve received valid claims on major National Lottery unclaimed prizes right up to the very last minute before.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll that we ask is for all EuroMillions players to take some time out of their day to have a search and check their tickets. That five minutes out of your day could end up making you a millionaire.<\/p>\n

“It would have been very chilly at the time the ticket was bought, so check your coat pockets.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you live or work in this area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting a loved one on Valentine\u2019s Day and stopped at a shop on the way?<\/p>\n

“We are ready and waiting with the champagne on ice for that life-changing phone call to come in to us here at The National Lottery.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlayers can check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at <\/a>national-lottery.co.uk. Players can also check tickets in retail.<\/p>\n

“Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.<\/p>\n

“You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.\u201d<\/p>\n

The draw on February 14 this year saw 14 millionaires made in one night, with this being the only one not to be claimed.<\/p>\n

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The draw also saw one lucky UK ticketholder scoop the \u00a365,341,620.50 jackpot that night.<\/p>\n
